Uniworks Electronics visited Thai schools for in-depth exchanges

On July 22, 2024, Mr. Fang Rong, Chairman of Uniworks Electronics, and his delegation visited Chinese village schools in Chiang Mai, Thailand: Chiang Mai Educational Federation Senior High School and Changliang Yuying Middle School.The Chinese Village Teachers' Association in Chiang Mai has 37 member schools, 360 teachers and nearly 20,000 students. The headquarters is located in the Chiang Mai Education Federation Senior High School in Grand Valley, with nearly 2,000 students.

Principal Wang Mingming of Chiang Mai Education Union Senior High School and his school teachers extended a warm welcome to President Fang and his delegation. The two parties had an in-depth discussion on Chinese education and employment issues. President Fang highly recognized the achievements of Education Union Senior High School in Chinese teaching and expressed his appreciation for the arrival. Overseas Chinese are deeply touched by how they still insist on Chinese education under difficult conditions. During the discussion, the development plan and progress of Uniworks Electronics in Thailand were introduced, as well as the demand for Chinese-Thai talents with a Chinese foundation.

Uniworks Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is located in Jinchi Industrial Park, Prachinburi, with an investment of US$8 million and an area of 33,600 square meters. The number of employees in the first phase is expected to be 300, and the full staff is 800.The company has a large demand for talents in administrative customer service, engineering technology, quality management, supply chain management, production management, etc., especially Chinese-Thai talents with a basic Chinese language background. After that, under the recommendation of Principal Wang, Mr. Fang and his delegation visited Changliang Yuying Middle School and were warmly received by the director of Yuying Middle School. The two parties also reached an intention to cooperate on student employment.

The Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, which was officially established in 2006, has gradually become the Chinese language and culture information resource center in northern Thailand.Mr. Fang and Director Lian Chen of the Confucius Institute discussed the recruitment of Thai employees, especially the recruitment of high school or college graduates with a foundation in Chinese.Dean Lian Chen introduced the basic situation of cooperation between the Confucius Institute and major universities, as well as the Chinese proficiency, employment direction and characteristics of Thai college students.Mr. Fang also explained that Uniworks Electronics adheres to the concept of long-term and systematic talent cultivation and intends to establish an in-depth cooperation model with the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University in establishing a talent training base.
